Rubex - Automation Settings - Apply Template Follow
Template Applications
Automation settings in Rubex also include the ability to kick off an automatic template application. This occurs when a new sub-directory is created in the selected location.
Template application automation settings can be added to cabinets, drawers, and folders. In the case of cabinets, the template application will occur whenever a new drawer is created inside of it. For drawers and folders, it will occur when new sub-folders are created in those locations.
To set up an automatic template application, start by selecting a cabinet, drawer, or folder. Then select the automation setting in the details menu on the right. This is represented by a 'Bell' icon.
The automation panel will appear on the right hand side and display any automation settings currently set up on that location.
Create a new one by clicking on the '+' icon at the top right of the automation panel. In the drop-down menu for 'Actions', select 'Apply Template'. A new button should appear in the panel called 'Select Template', click on it.
This opens up a window that allows you to select what template you wish to be applied for the purposes of this automation setting. Navigate through your template libraries and click on the template you wish to use, then click on 'Select' at the bottom right.
Finally, click 'Save' to confirm the automation setting.
