For maximum security, eFileCabinet Online employs SSL/TLS encryption on data that is transmitted between your computer and the data servers. Data is encrypted with a 256-bit AES standard on the actual data servers.

Where is my data stored?

eFileCabinet Online employs a SAS 70 Type II certified data center with daily backups and redundancy. Learn more about our data centers here.

How often are my files stored inside of eFileCabinet Online backed up?

Files are backed up as soon as you store them inside of eFileCabinet and a mass backup is performed each night. Files are also redundantly stored across our storage solution in multiple geographic locations.

Are you using SSL over port 443 or a custom SSL port?

eFileCabinet Online runs SSL over port 443 so that you won't have to open any other ports on your firewall.
