EFC Desktop – How do I resolve a "QuickAccessToolbar is not registered" error upon login into eFileCabinet? Follow
When logging in as a regular user, you receive an extensive error message indicating something about the "QuickAccessToolbar" not being "registered", the following troubleshooting steps will need to be performed:
1. Log into eFileCabinet as Administrator, then, under the administration tab, select "Manage Users".
2. Select the user that's having the login issue, then select "Edit".
3. Rename the user in the window that populates, then select OK.
4. Once the user has been renamed, select "New User".
5. Name this new user as the original name of the "old" user, applying all the same permissions, etc., then select OK.
Following this, log in as this "new" user. If you find you are successful, continue to use this "new" user login and delete the "old" user, if you so desire.
