eFileCabinet On-Premise – "StartDoc Failed: Printer wont initialize" Error Follow
First, uninstall and reinstall the eFileCabinet Printer (on desktop, it can be done by clicking the E(or File) in the upper left corner of eFileCabinet, selecting Install/Uninstall Features, unchecking the printer, and selecting "Apply"
If reinstalling the printer did not fix the issue, perform the following steps:
1. Open regedit (type regedit in the start menu search.)
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT)CONFIG \\ Software \\ eFileCabinet Desktop (or eFileCabinet 5 depending on the version/build number you're using.)
3. Right click on the eFileCabinet folder and go to Permissions.
4. Give "Everyone" full control and select "Apply," then "OK."
If "Everyone" is not listed, got "add," type Everyone in the space provided, select OK, then apply full control as displayed above.
