What triggers the first "new user email" to go to a new guest user? If they don't get that email how can I resend it. When I share a drawer with a new guest user they are getting a notification email like you get when a file is added or deleted. But they are not seeing the new user email to set up their password.
I have seen one post about this issue, but the response was not helpful as I could not find a screen that has users listed as noted, and anywhere I can see a list of users, right clicking does not give me a "resend the email option"
If you are utilizing the new version of SecureDrawer on https://app.securedrawer.com/#/login then the new guest user email gets sent immediately after creating the user on the website (there have been a few users that have indicated issues with this when creating the guest user through the SD integration in eFileCabinet desktop/on premise, but our developers are looking into that to resolve as we speak (as of this post, our most recent version of desktop/on premise is 16.2.221)).
If the users aren’t receiving the emails when you’ve created them on the website, they need to make sure that their email provider is not blocking anything coming from email@example.com (as this is the email that all the guest user emails come from).
If you need to resend a guest user email for the new version of SD, on the SecureDrawer site, go to the three lined menu in the upper left, the admin tab, users and groups, guests, and on that page, select the email icon listed next to their name/email address.
If you’re on the old version of SD on https://application.securedrawer.com/ then the guest user email gets sent out after you click “send guest user email” on the user creation window. You can resend the guest user email in the old/classic version by going to guest users in the bottom left corner, find the user in the leftmost pane and right click and select “new user email”.
