In order to scan/print files into the new HTML 5 interface of eFileCabinet Online, perform the following steps:
1. Make sure you have the scanner utility/printer installed.
To install, open Sidekick and check Scanner and Printer, then select Apply.
If, under settings, you have "use default" selected, perform the following:
1. In Sidekick, right click on a drawer or folder and select "set as default storage location".
2. Open the scanning utility, scan your document and click store.
3. The document will then be directed to the Upload Files queue, where you can rename it, and add a profile if you wish, then select the upload icon next to the document, or select Upload All. Following this, the item will upload to the previously defined storage location.
If, under the Settings tab, you have "interactive" selected, then when you use the Store button in the scanner utility and the file ends up in the Upload queue, you can then navigate through the structure until you are inside the location you wish to store in (which will change the "storage location" under the upload files queue. Rename your document as needed, then select the upload icon next to the document, or select Upload All.
