In the event of a machine failure and the loss of locally stored EFC data and database files, you can restore your data from your CloudView backups. To do so, perform the following:
Go to the Administration tab, select Cloudview Backup, then select "Restore CloudView Backup" under any of the tabs in the CloudView Backup window.
NOTE: Do NOT log in/connect to your Cloudview account at this point. Just click Restore.
Alternatively, you can right-click on the eFileCabinet server icon located in the system tray of the server machine, and select "Restore Cloudview Backup".
When the Server Wizard populates, enter your Administrator password and select "Next"
Select "Restore from Backup".
Enter your CloudView login credentials and select "Begin Restore".
A list of the 5 most recent database backups will populate. Chose from the list, and the restore will begin.
Following completion, the following popup message will restore to let you know it is complete.
Keep in mind that your files will be downloaded and restored over time. You can check the status by going to the Administration tab, CloudView Backup, and selecting the Status tab.
